We're working on one of the coolest snow reporting applications ever. It'll be here soon. In the meantime think about what your ultimate snow report and forecast would be. I bet you we're on already on the same page...stay tuned!

The freshy factor is an indication of finding powder at any resort at any given time of the day. The value changes over time. It goes up with more snow, and it goes down over time. We use several ingredients to determine the Freshy Factor: 24 hour new snow, 5 day new snow, time of day and day of the week. There is the strong possiblity that more factors will be included soon like social reports, resort acreage, and more.

Freshy Map is a new kind of snow report that is based on real-time snow data. Freshy Map gives you a simple and powerful resource for accessing update-to-date snow conditions that make sense to you. We've developed software that aggregates a large variety of data into one place, and have added value through a custom algorithms for finding fresh snow.

Freshy Map is a new kind of snow report that grew out of frustration with every other snow/ski reporting site on the market. We built Freshy Map to give skiers and snowboarders a simple and powerful resource for accessing update-to-date snow conditions, and to change the status quo in terms of snow reporting. Freshy Map puts the power of knowledge in your hands.
The Freshy Factor is our special sauce that gives you a custom likelihood of finding freshies on any given day. We combine several factors to determine the Freshy Factor including: Reported new snow, the day of the week, time of day, snowfall data from nearby weather stations, social networks and our proven resort freshy estimates.
Snow falling all day on a Saturday and snow falling after 4:00 PM on a Monday can mean two very, very different things. Freshy Map knows this, and provides a real-time snow report that is unavailable anywhere else. Our reports are updated regularly and respect factors that make sense to those who ride. We get it, and are here to give you a better way.
Freshy Map is social and listens to, and learns from, what people are saying on the web. Reports of freshies from twitter are used to either increase or decrease the Freshy Factor and give you an added factor to consider when going riding.
